OUR WORK

We are a not-for-profit organisation that has one foot in traditional filmmaking, and one in participatory arts and film.

All of our work is focussed on having a positive impact on the world or on individuals; this may be be film and arts that raise awareness, educates, and cultivates compassion. Or it may be community projects that improve wellbeing, amplify the voices of marginalised people, up-skill, or improve access.

For descriptions of our offer, please see below.

Our Portfolio can be found here

Drama

We work with partners and communities to develop and script stories rooted in real lived experience. The themes in our work are usually issue based or socially engaged, with the intention of educating or affecting positive change.

We use a variety of art forms during our process and prioritise participatory engagement during script development.

Documentary

We work with researchers, charities, and the public sector. We focus on work that raises awareness, can be used as an educational or training resource, or makes academic research accessible and enjoyable.

We also have our own slate of projects in development or production. We are particularly interested in gentle portraits of everyday people and places.

Participatory

We support community groups and schools create their own scripted dramas, documentaries, and art films.

We also work with artists, photographers, theatre practitioners, writers and a whole world of creative professionals who help us bring stories and self expression to life in whatever art-form fits best. Often we use a combination, resulting in dynamic, deeply explored projects.

Advocacy &

Industry Development

We are committed to making storytelling, particularly on screen, more accessible and more representative. We are working hard to develop innovative and collaborative ways of working that can generate more robust creative economies in regional cities, and ensure the people with the story capital are the ones who benefit from it. This is a longterm vision, and we are always interested in talking to people who might share our appetite for change.
